Auto Repossession
Voluntary surrenders and involuntary repossessions of cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, motorcycles, and other financed vehicles. We coordinate location, recovery, transportation, and lender documentation.
Jacksonville Repo Company provides vehicle repossession and collateral recovery services for banks, credit unions, finance companies, dealerships, and private lienholders across Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. We coordinate voluntary and involuntary recoveries, skip tracing, marine recovery, and heavy equipment assignments.
Recovery needs depend on the collateral, its location, and accessibility. A passenger vehicle, a boat at a marina, and equipment at a job site each call for different planning.

Agents evaluate known locations and available access. When the collateral cannot be found, further investigation may help identify new leads.
Agents assess the circumstances before proceeding. Recovery must be lawful and avoid a breach of the peace. Transport is arranged for the asset.
Available photographs, vehicle condition information, and recovery details are documented for the lender. Storage and transport depend on the assignment.
A newer pickup truck was often parked at a construction-related workplace, but the borrower came and went throughout the day. Timing made recovery difficult.
After the borrower stopped making payments, the lender requested repossession. During the investigation, we noticed a publicly available social media update suggesting the borrower was traveling as a passenger in another vehicle.
That meant his truck might still be at work. We contacted the recovery agent immediately and recommended checking the workplace within approximately two hours. The agent went there and successfully secured the pickup.
What mattered: Recognizing a short-lived opportunity and passing the information to the recovery agent while it was still useful.
Under Florida Statute 679.609, a secured creditor may take possession of collateral after default through judicial process or, when permitted, without judicial process if there is no breach of the peace.
Florida also regulates recovery agencies and agents under Chapter 493. Finding the vehicle does not automatically mean recovery may lawfully proceed under the circumstances.
